Welcome to Climbing @ UVA

Our mission is to open the sport of climbing to all students at UVA through a lively, supportive, and welcoming community. With over 150 active members, our organization has something for everyone, at a very reasonable price.  We encourage you to  check out all we have to offer! Welcoming Community

Our community is supportive of all. Climbing is a very social sport, and we foster a culture of friendliness and inclusion for everyone, whether you're a first time climber or a seasoned pro, and irrespective of your personal identity.

Climbing is Awesome

Climbing is both a physically and mentally rewarding sport that can easily be done as a hobby, or a more serious venture. All climbing venues, including our own Slaughter climbing gym, have routes for all skill and comfort levels.

Affordable Dues

For just $70 per semester, you'll have access to more than $400 in gym passes, plus free gear rentals, team trips, and multiple social events! We offer dues waivers by request.
